Please bring the following items when picking up your rental car.
Your valid passport is required for identity verification.
You must bring one of the following. Please ensure it is not expired.
Important: You must bring the original IDP (Geneva 1949) (paper booklet). Copies or photos are not accepted. If you do not have it on pickup day, your reservation cannot be fulfilled and cancellation fees will apply.
While we can provide preliminary advice on IDP (Geneva 1949) validity, the final determination can only be made upon inspection of the original document. Even if the preliminary check shows no issues, cancellation will occur if there are problems with the original document. Any cancellation due to IDP (Geneva 1949) issues (invalid, expired, not original, etc.) is the customer's responsibility, and cancellation fees will be charged.
A credit or debit card is required for the security deposit (standard hold: JPY60,000). If you selected Damage & NOC Zero, a reduced deposit applies (typically JPY15,000). Please check your booking details for the final amount. The refund will be processed 3-10 days after vehicle return, due to system processing.
Important: The card must be in the driver's name.
Note: Canadian Interac debit cards are not supported by our payment provider (Square). Please use a credit card or a non-Interac debit card instead.
Please have your booking confirmation email or reservation number ready. You can show it on your phone or bring a printed copy.
