Both one-way routes are fully supported. Choose whichever fits your itinerary - start your Mt. Fuji loop from Hakone, or from Kawaguchiko.
Pick up at Hakone Shop, drop off at Kawaguchiko Shop. Perfect if you arrive via Hakone-Yumoto and want to end your trip near Mt. Fuji.

Can I pick up in Hakone and return in Kawaguchiko?
Yes. We operate both the Hakone Shop and the Kawaguchiko Shop, and one-way rentals are available in either direction: Hakone to Kawaguchiko or Kawaguchiko to Hakone.
Is there a one-way fee?
Yes. An additional one-way fee applies. Enter your pickup and return shops and dates in the booking search to see the total, including the one-way fee, before you book.
Can I return the car at a hotel or station instead of a shop?
Delivery and collection are available at selected hotels and facilities around Hakone and Kawaguchiko for a fee. Available return locations and fees depend on your dates, so check them in the booking search.
What are the shop hours? Can I pick up or return outside them?
Both the Hakone Shop and the Kawaguchiko Shop are open daily from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Pickup or return outside these hours is available for an additional fee. After booking, contact us by WhatsApp or email and include your booking ID.
How far are the shops from the stations?
The Hakone Shop is a 15-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The Kawaguchiko Shop is about an 8-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station.
Is insurance included in a one-way rental?
Yes. Basic insurance is included in the rental price. You can also add ZLC (Damage & NOC Zero) for an extra fee; terms and exclusions apply.
Payment methods
Online payment when booking
Available options depend on your country, device and payment eligibility. Choose from the methods shown at checkout. Payment is in Japanese yen (JPY).
Security deposit hold at pickup
Credit or debit card. Like a hotel deposit, we temporarily hold an amount on your card at pickup, separately from your online payment. We charge your card only if additional charges arise, and only for that amount. After the return is checked, we release the remaining hold. If there are no additional charges, nothing is charged.
Apple Pay and Google Pay work with supported cards using international contactless payments. iD and QUICPay are not supported.
