Q: Is camping gear rental available?
A: While we don't rent camping gear, many camping grounds around Lake Motosu offer equipment rental. Our cars have plenty of space for camping gear transport.
Q: How do I reach the former ¥1,000 note viewpoint?
A: Park at the lakeside trailhead and allow about a 30-minute hike each way to the Nakanokura Pass viewpoint. The viewing deck is reached on foot, not by car.
Q: Do you provide fishing permits?
A: Fishing permits need to be purchased separately at local shops near Lake Motosu. We can provide information on where to get them when you pick up your car.
Q: Is Lake Motosu good for families with children?
A: Families can enjoy lakeside scenery and camping around Lake Motosu. Check your campground's facilities and activity rules when planning your visit. Child seats can be requested when booking.

Security deposit hold at pickup
Credit or debit card. Like a hotel deposit, we temporarily hold an amount on your card at pickup, separately from your online payment. We charge your card only if additional charges arise, and only for that amount. After the return is checked, we release the remaining hold. If there are no additional charges, nothing is charged.
Apple Pay and Google Pay work with supported cards using international contactless payments. iD and QUICPay are not supported.
